This Android app is a reader for the New Life Scripture (नया जीवन शास्त्र) version of the Hindi New Testament (हिन्‍दी नया नियम). It is an easy to read and understand version of the Holy Bible (पवित्र बाइबल).

Read for yourself of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ (यीशु मसीह) as written by his disciples (चेले), the Sants (संत), Mathew (मत्ती), Mark (मरकुस), Luke (लूका‍), and John (युहन्‍ना). Learn about the life and works of the early believers of Jesus in Acts (प्रेरितों के कामों का वर्णन).

As these apostles (प्रेरित) shared the Good News (सु-समाचार) about Jesus, groups of believers (विश्वासियों की मंडली) were formed all over the ancient Roman Empire. To guide and teach them, the apostles wrote letters to groups in many different places.

To the group in the city Rome (रोमियों की मंडली के लिए पत्री), the apostle Paul (प्रेरित पौलुस) taught the believers about God’s plan for the world through the prophesied messiah (मसीहा), Jesus Christ. To the believers in Corinth (कुरिन्‍थियों की मंडली के लिए पहली और दूसरी पत्री), Paul taught the believers about God’s plan for marriage (विवाह), spiritual gifts (आत्मिक वरदान), the Resurrection (पुनर्जीवित होना), the importance of prophesy (भविष्यवाणी का महत्व) and speaking in tongues (स्वर्ग की भाषाएँ बोलना) during worship (आराधना) in fellowships of Christ (मसीह की संगति). And in the 2nd letter about how God comforts us in all our troubles (दुःख-मुसीबतें) and uses our weaknesses (दुर्बलताएँ) for His glory.

While Paul was in prison for sharing his faith, he wrote four letters to different groups urging them to stay fixed in their faith. To the believers in the city of Galatia (गलातिया की मंडली के लिए पत्री), he teaches them what true freedom is. To the believers in city of Ephesus (इफिसियों की मंडली के लिए पत्री), he teaches them how to overcome the powers of Satan (शैतान की बुरी शक्‍ति का सामना करके जयवंत होना). To the believers in city of Philippi (फिलिप्‍पियों की मंडली के लिए पत्री), he teaches what they need to do to have true joy in their lives. To the believers in the city of Colosse (कलुसियों की मंडली के लिए पत्री), he teaches how the believers should live lives of faith until Christ returns to earth.

To the churches in the city of Thessalonica (थिस्‍सलुनीकियों की मंडली के लिए पहली और दूसरी पत्री), Paul wrote to those who were experiencing great persecution and encouraging them to stand fast in their faith, and also discusses what happens to believers who have died, and about what will happen at the end of this age of the world (इस युग के अंत में). Paul then writes to several of his disciples, Timothy (तिमुथियस के लिए पहली और दूसरी पत्री) & Titus (तीतुस के लिए चिट्ठी), who are pastoring groups of believers in different places about what true Christian leadership should look like.

The author of the book of Hebrews (इब्रानियों की मंडली के लिए पुस्‍तक) writes to Jewish believers that the realities of the new covenant (नई वाचा) through the sacrifice of Jesus (यीशु का बलिदान) are greater than the temporary ones of the first covenant (पुरानी वाचा की पूजन विधि).

Following these are several letters from other apostles written to various groups encouraging them in their various trials. The apostle James (याकूब की पुस्‍तक) was a wise leader who wrote about what God wants from his people. The apostle Peter (पतरस की पहली और दूसरी पुस्तक) wrote about the believers’ inheritance in heaven and sharing in God’s nature (परमेश्वर का महिमा भरा और सिद्ध स्वभाव) here on earth. The apostle John (युहन्‍ना की पहली, दूसरी और तीसरी पुस्तक) wrote to remind believers of the necessity to love one-another and obey God’s commandments (आज्ञाएँ). He also wrote the final book of the New Testament, Revelation (प्रकाशित वाक्‍य), to share the visions he had about the events at the end of this age, and the coming of the New Heavens and Earth (नया ब्रह्माण्ड).
