With 60,000+ medical definitions in English, Wikimed is the largest source of medical content available. It covers all medical specialties, as well as sanitation, drugs, diseases and anatomy.

As a medical dictionary, MiniMed is perfect for practicing physicians, as well as students who need a quick look - and since it is offline, you do not need an internet connection to use it!

MiniMed is the light version of Wikimed, which is based on Wikipedia's Project Medicine and contains a lot more details in terms of symptoms, treatment and risk factors (but it also is much bigger, that's why we made a shorter version).

Based on the searches that I conducted, this mini version is not as comprehensive as the full version nor should one expect it to be, I suppose; however, if you are reluctant to allocate the 1.27 GB of memory that the full version will occupy when installed, this mini version is an excellent resource to have available. I chose to have both versions installed on my phone. A big thumbs up to the development team.

App is crashing constantly.i recently download this mini one in the hope that it wont crash and i would be able to search diseases but same problem.as soon as i download it,it failed to open saying that sorry we are crashed..i want to start this app kindly help

SUPERB...I just love it. I have just started my MBBS course & I am enjoying this app because it's very useful, without unnecessary advertisements & above all Wiki Med is available when l am offline too. So l never get bored in such areas where there is no such good internet connection...I can gain a lot of informations about human health & diseases from this brilliant app.It's very easy to use & very helpful to medical students.
