The TerraTrac mobile app is a powerful tool designed for farmers, field buyers, and stakeholders to collect geotagged farm data in compliance with European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) standards. It enables users to create and manage collection sites, capture farm details (name, location, and size), and perform plot mapping with latitude/longitude coordinates or polygon boundaries. The app supports data import and export in CSV and GeoJSON formats, allowing users to validate or share farm information externally. Users can also share farm lists via email, WhatsApp, and other messaging platforms. Additionally, the app provides options for importing farm plot data from external files, backing up data to a remote server, and restoring previously backed-up data, ensuring secure and flexible data management. To ensure seamless functionality, TerraTrac requires foreground services for real-time data synchronization and location tracking. Data synchronization occurs only when the device is connected to the internet, ensuring farm data is securely backed up and updated. Location services run only when capturing location data, such as geotagging farms or mapping boundaries, to ensure precise and reliable positioning.
