This app has a LOT more "stations" than other apps. You can get info that's really close to where you'll actually be. I also like the graphic representation of the tides. Other apps have graphics like this, but with this app you can look back in time as well as forward, so your not stuck with the time bar on the left edge of the screen at midnight. Also, the clock is a twelve hour clock, which I prefer. What's 17:37 anyway?

I've been using this for about five years for Casco Bay, Maine, and the tide graph and calendar have been invaluable for, very quickly, comparing tide times and levels over days and weeks. I've tried a few other tide apps their UI just isn't as good. The ads have become increasingly intrusive, but it's well with it and similar to many other high quality apps from independent developers. My only complaint is that it's unclear if the upgrade cost is per month, year, or one-time.

Generally, I have no problem with apps that have ads. Developers should get paid. But when ads blast audio at full volume with no way to stop the for 5 seconds, its more like extortion trying to get people to pay for the ad free version. Screw that, there are plenty other good tide apps that don't abuse users. "Tide Chart FREE" (note that "Chart" is singular whereas this app's name is plural) is a good one. "Tides Near Me" is another.
