Manage your account your way at anytime, anywhere with this secure Barclaycard app. Free to download now for Android and with more handy features on the way, currently you can:

* View your latest balance and available credit
* See what you’ve spent and where, including pending transactions
* Report your card lost, stolen or damaged
* View your digital statements
* Pay your bill and review earlier payments
* Manage your Direct Debit
* Manage your credit limit
* Activate your Barclaycard
* Add additional cardholders to your account
* Transfer a balance from a non-Barclaycard credit card
* Transfer money from your Barclaycard to a UK bank account
* Update your contact details
* View your PIN


Before you get started

To maintain your privacy and security, this app isn’t available on rooted devices. Instead you can access your account on your mobile by going online to barclaycard.mobi. Please note that the app doesn't support Intel processors.

To use the Barclaycard App you’ll need a UK mobile number to register.

If you’ve got a Barclays current account you’ll also be able to view and manage this account using the Barclaycard app.

Other things you need to know

- Compatible mobile device, operating system and internet access are required

- Standard network charges for data usage may apply. Check with your network service provider for mobile or internet use

It's now worse than ever. Works for a while and then one day a contactless payment won't work and you find the whole app just freezes and you have to "Force Stop" and restart it again, wait for it t realise you want contactless payments and eventually it'll start working again, for a while. Doesn't help it's a really badly designed app in the first place. If I didn't get cashback I wouldn't use it, as it happens I often use another card using GooglePay when this app stops working.

If you change phones, you are in for a nightmare of verification. Why do app developer people think users just have and use one device?! 4 star for when it's up and running, 1 star for getting it up and running. Edit; App 'experiences problems' 'try again later' too many times - worse you get no SMS to tell you there are problems. You just log in & suddenly you card isn't there ! It's poor. Layout is also not centric around main requirements for most users. It's become an upselling platform

Hi, for security if you download the app on a new device or delete and install again you are required to complete registration again. Had problems registering app but finally got it done. Opened it and no cards even though I used card to register , lots of blank screens or error messages, option to call from app, it called business desk so had to wait in yet another queue to have to explain again, couldn't explain why it's not showing cards, deleted app and started from scratch and was easier second time but same result, no cards etc. Cards show in online banking but not on app, deleting app as pointless & wasted enough time.
