14/07/17 closing my account as barclays have not got a clue. The app will still not work on my galaxy s6. Original review. Been using this app for the last 2 and half years on my galaxy s6. Then I got the android 7.0 update. From that day I couldn't use the app as pinsentry. Contacted barclays who Saud there was an issue with the app and suggested I uninstalled and loaded it again. I now can't even register the app on my phone.......and barclays haven't got a clue. UPDATE So the app has been updated, but I still can't get past the personal information page, there is no "continue" button to press, Come on barclays, it will now be easier to switch banks and use android or samsung pay.
My experience with using this App; have always been nothing but pure joy. Not seen the interior walls of a bank for years now. All thanks to this absolutely amazing App..I have done almost everything about banking on this incredible App; from taking out and repayment of loans(signing it as well) and overdrafts, all in the comfort of my home.
Used to work fine and was a great app until recently the last update doesn't allow you to get past the first white loading screen. Seriously barclays your supposed to be a professional banking company and can't even test a simple app before se ding it out. My lloyds app on the other hand works like a charm no issues whatsoever.
I loved this app, always kept me right. However, like others since updates on my honor 8, the app no longer works. It does not open. I have emailed tech team who have told me to ring customer care but I doubt they can fix issue. Seems to me that an app version update is required. Would go back to 5 star if fixed. Finally fixed. Thank goodness for that, back to five stars after five months!
Excellent app. I can do my banking, pay people and do transfers between all my accounts in one place. Business account, savings account, personal current account and credit card all in one place. Best banking app by far. Haven't been to a high street branch in years except to change address. Very very impressed. Update in June/July has now caused a lag in logging in, only about 10 to 15 seconds compared to the past but that's the only grumble I have. Well done
Well like many others after the June 2017 update I can't get past the white PIN submission page. This app worked fine for 3yrs until this. Followed Barclays 'tech' advice to uninstall / reinstall. Still got issue. Come on Barclays, be professional and sort out any glitches BEFORE updating. Like a fellow reviewer stated it looks like I need to find a different banking service for my business & personal use 😞😞😞😞
