About this app

Timing you contractions has never been so easy! Just press the start button when your contraction starts, and stop when it stops, it's as easy as that!

From there on out this app will give you all the information you need during this important time. It tells you exactly how many contractions you've had so far and how long the contractions and intermissions have lasted.
This data can be used by your obstetrician to assist and guide you during labor.

With the newest version of contraction timer it is now also possible to monitor the intensity of your contractions and get an informative chart based on this information. It is also possible to edit or resume a contraction by clicking the pencil icon in case you accidentally stopped it. Additionally deleting contractions is as easy as swiping it of the screen.

Finally it's now easier than ever to share your contractions. You can either share the summary or let our app generate a live stream which you can share with your loved ones.

Good luck!

This app is so incredibly simple to use! Simple and large start/stop buttons track not only the individual contraction but the overall intervals in two ways - the time elapsed between contractions and the time from the beginning of one contraction to the next. Simple charts and an option to track intensities have been so useful. One of my favorite aspects is being able to share a link to live updates with whoever I wish. Thank you so much!!

Contractions should be tracked based on DURATION (start to end of each) and FREQUENCY (from the start of one to the start of the next, NOT the interval from the end of one to the start of the next). The duration display is fine, but this interval and interval with contraction (which is the actual frequency) is confusing. [Edit: It would be helpful to at least label frequency properly. The interval between is irrelevant and should go. I'm a Birth Doula and won't share this app with my clients.]

Hi Heidi, thanks for your feedback. We decided to display both this way because we noticed that displaying just the frequency caused a lot of confusion. But we're looking into ways to make this even clearer, thanks!

The intervals are measured differently from everything we have learned... Our medical professionals indicate that it's from beginning of contraction to beginning of contraction. This app measures it from end of one to beginning of the next. I'd rather not have to do the math to figure out what the actual interval is...
