The game is good, BUT it's meant for those fluent in Chinese. 3rd installment and it's the same issues. You have to recognize and know what the symbols actually mean. It's not just a matter of matching them visually. The "Seasons" puzzle is a good example. I thought the symbols on the wheel would match the puzzle below. No. You have to understand the translation between the two. And what the symbols translate to when combined. It's too complicated for the unfluent. Disappointing.

Hard to follow due to the heavy reliance on chinese language characters needed to solve puzzles. But if you are diligent and don't mind the small issues of the culture see differences and slightly awkward english translation, it is a grand follow up to the first two games with an ending that I could never have guessed would shock me the way it did. It resolves just the right amount of threads and keeping quite a few for the next game. Be sure to watch until the end of the credits.

Overall, I like paper bride 2, then 1 and 3 will be my least fav. I feel like this one heavily uses Chinese culture and understanding of Chinese language to understand the logic of the puzzles. I was confused a lot throughout the game and ended up using a lot of hints to just proceed onto the next step. So it was less engaging and more just playing a walkthrough. The main characters were okay, I didn't care much for them as I need the other two. But always love the ending scenes!
