Functionality has fallen off a cliff over the past couple of months-- messages, likes, and photos require closing and reopening the app to show up. Even then, they (photos especially) typically take several hours to load. The latest update seems to have exacerbated these issues. The app is nearly unusable in its current state.

I used to use the app all the time but since the last update a month or so ago, I've been having so many issues with it. I have 5G yet the app tells me that my messages can't send and won't load them. It acts like I have 3G from years ago. The app also likes to freeze after I want to make a photo selection, going into a black screen. So I have to close the app down and restart it. It's been a pain and I think I may have to look for a new app.

Liked this app until latest update (v7.7.7). Yet another case of "we know what works better". 1. Calendar instances much less readable than the old square box that had larger print without all the extra info. 2. Double tapping to like - why? What was wrong with single tap of blank icon? & with the "like" icon under each message, that's just wasting vertical space - when it was down the RHS it took up less room. 3. When a notification comes in, clicking it does NOT bring you to the related chat
