Memorize anything with AnkiDroid!

AnkiDroid lets you learn flashcards very efficiently by showing them just before you would forget. It is fully compatible with the spaced repetition software Anki (including synchronization), which is available for Windows/Mac/Linux/ChromeOS/iOS.

Study all sorts of things wherever and whenever you want. Make good use of idle times on bus trips, in supermarket queues or any other waiting situation!

Create your own flashcard decks or download free decks compiled for many languages and topics (thousands available).

Add material through the desktop application Anki or directly through Ankidroid. The application even supports adding material automatically from a dictionary!

Ratings and reviews

The app is overall good, but it's not the most intuitive system. I have problems getting the cards I want study in a deck to pop up even when I try to favorite, rearange them, or set a deadline for them to pop up the that day and they still get buried behind other ones that I have already study and should be buried as said that I am good for at least a day or more on them. I wish I could use the tags to pull up certain cards when studying, but as far as I can tell it only lets you edit them.

Used this for almost a decade now. Just in the last few months though, I'm hitting a bug when I press an answer button and then I can't continue without restarting because anything I press results in another bug report, over and over. Happens at least once per session now. Distracting and frustrating.

Exceptional piece of software that is fantastic for studying. Robust (plug-ins are widely available), has a big forum community so any questions you have can be usually be found (and if not, you can just ask), the user manual is well organized, and best of all it just works well--I've never had any issues syncing across devices, for example. I've never really had any issues at all, actually. King of flash card apps by far.
