Could not make it work, no tech support. Dnld Android app, okay. Wired to 12 cig plug, okay. Found "MRT" wifi signal okay. Opened app on phone, got message "please connect to car wifi". Read reviews, tried several approaches (connect wifi, wait a while, then open app) but never got a picture on phone. BTW, the camera was really hot after a few minutes plugged in. Looked for tech support, no luck. Returning it.

Typical software developed by one guy who also tested it ("works on my device", release ready). The app seems to be untested in the field. It works, but only with several workarounds: The Wifi connection has to be done at least 30sec BEFORE the app is launched (security issue: connection is not encrypted. Everyone could in theory connect to it and if a vulnerability exists access all other connected devices). The app never reconnects if the cam Wifi is interrupte: kill & start the app again!

You have wait maybe minute and sixteen seconds for camera to connect via wifi through your phone can't use Hotspot.. the lag time is horrible. there's no way to trigger the camera to let you no you're in reverse...So I'm suggested you go with wire version.. the only good things is you can record and take pictures if you can get connected.
