Smart Screen On Off application is simple utility to automatically On or Off screen using proximity sensor and double tap on Home Screen, instead of having to press the power button manually. Smart Screen On Off have a power head floating in a convenient location is also provided to quickly turn off the screen.

Sometimes difficult to press the power button, or you want to preserve the physical power button. Smart Screen On Off application and the power head floating can help you minimize the use of the power button anytime, anywhere.

"This app uses the Device Administrator permission." It is necessary and used only for locking the device when you use feature turn off the screen. You need to enable Administration before it can be used that feature. To uninstall the app, please open my app and click the "Uninstall" button.

Update: I found the feature +1star, it is not easy accessible in the main menu and is under 'clear view' tag. On the other hand, clear view is very prone to unlock the phone when pushing the screen against the leg while putting the phone in your pocket. Is there a way to disable the touchscreen? Suggestions: 1. Add a 'open on startup' option. 2. When I lock the phone with double tap I can't unlock with fingerprint, says 'locked by admin' it is a redmagic 3. Nice app but needs a lot of polishing.

I love the app but there are certain problems that I'm hoping you can solve for me. First, let me say that I'm running an a Samsung Note 10+ with Android 9. Holding the phone upside down always works. Floating Popup always works. Double Tap works sometimes and not others. Proximity sensors sometimes work to turn on... sometimes! Proximity sensors never works to turn off... never. Swipe thru Proximity sensors does not work 99% of the time. How do I correct these things?

Works okay but I am still on a quest to find a screen off/on app that works from the HALL EFFECT sensors on the phone rather than the proximity sensor. It would be great if this Smart Screen On Off (New) app could be updated to use the hall-effect sensors as an option. My cover has a cut-out for the ear speaker, front camera and sensors so I have to tape a piece of black paper over the sensor portion of the opening to allow this app to work properly. This also means that front-facing camera is not usable with the cover closed.
