About this game

NETFLIX MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED.

Solve your way through a charming world packed with clever tactical tile puzzles on a quest to find somewhere you fit in, and connect the quirky communities you discover.

Explore a different kind of RPG: a "role-puzzling" game. The story unfolds through a unique, interconnected grid that spans the entire world. When you move, the colorful environment moves with you — creating a playful sense of chaos and a regular stream of small, thoughtful puzzles that twist and play with the central mechanic.

Jump into the adventure as Jemma, a small-town misfit on a journey of self-discovery. Travel beyond your stiflingly cozy confines to find an inspiring world — yet one that’s ruled by fear and a strange, immovable static force. Can you shake up a culture of stagnation and find a place to belong?

A COLORFUL, CONNECTED WORLD

• A unique gameplay grid seamlessly unites combat and exploration. Meet a cast of quirky characters, vanquish monsters and discover surprises as you move through the world.

• Swipe to slide up, down, left and right. Objects within the same row or column as you will move when you move, creating a wide variety of interesting puzzles.

CLEVER YET ACCESSIBLE GAMEPLAY

• There's no XP or inventory to manage in this breezy puzzle RPG. All game objects exist on the grid, and you maneuver them into place as you move through.

• A straightforward quest log gives you one goal at a time. In-game assist options can point you in the right direction and let you skip puzzles, so you only get as stuck as you want to be.

AN ALL-STAR DEVELOPMENT TEAM

• This is the debut game from a team of indie developers including the artist behind "Braid," the designer of "Ethereal" and the writer of "Carto."

Awesome puzzler! The mobile interface was intuitive, I think having a controller might have made things a little easier, but swiping was really smooth. For a mobile game, the quality was amazing. I was a little disappointed by the length, but that's only holding it to Switch standards. I had 30/36 achievements (including all temples), so maybe there's still more to explore? Probably the best Netflix port so far!

Thanks, Dan! If you have a Bluetooth controller hooked up, you should be able to use it to play. :-)

it's a great game....that won't load after closing it. I've had to re-download this game 3 times because I really like it! it's just annoying because after closing the app, when trying to play later, it loads a white screen and freezes there. This is my first experience with a Netflix game app. The game is fun and interesting, but Netflix has some definite bugs to fix

This game is very innovative and has an interesting story. The only gripe I have about it is that you're given the option to skip a puzzle..but why not just offer a tiny hint to help the player? At times I find myself frustrated trying to solve a way through but I just want a little nudge to help me solve the puzzle not totally bypass the entire puzzle. I'm just a casual gamer. These are just my thoughts. Otherwise, so far I'm enjoying the game.

Hi Laura, thanks for the review! We've explored a few options for this but it's very challenging to provide useful hints in a puzzle with various ways to solve. None of it felt right so we decided to create the most intuitive puzzles we could but allow you to skip them just in case. It's not ideal but we want to share our thinking for this one!
