About this app

Tune your guitar, bass, ukulele or other instrument with n-Track Tuner Pro.

Just put your device next to your instrument and play each string.
The tuner will automatically recognize the note you're playing and tell you whether you need to lower or increase the string's pitch.

‣SPECTRUM ANALYZER
The spectrum analyzer provides a visual feedback of the notes played by the instrument and shows a small arrow to highlight the harmonic whose pitch the tuner is tracking.

‣DIAPASON
For those who prefer to manually tune their instrument the 'Diapason' view lets you play a reference tone, 'A' (440 hz) or any other note that you can select dragging the frequency slider.

‣ADJUST THE PRECISION
Tap to adjust the spectrum analyzer visualization options, select thicker spectrum lines, smooth out or highlights peaks, increase or decrease tuning sensitivity and precision (up to 0.1 cents)

‣NON-STANDARD MUSICAL TEMPERAMENTS
You can calibrate the tuner for non-standard tunings: tune the reference note, tap on the display and select 'Calibrate' to set the note as the new reference. You can also select non-standard musical temperaments, alternate note namings and much more

‣SONOGRAM
Select the Sonogram tab to view how the frequency spectrum changes with time, and follow the tuned note as it travels through the spectrum as a green line

Ratings and reviews

A little too expensive I think, but this simply is the best tuning application ever for now. A lot of tools, very intuitive UI, amazing note detection, great spectral views, different temperaments... and more. I really like the recently added feature for tuning specific instruments (guitar, piano, bass etc.), it really makes this app the best on the market. I tried and seen many other tuners (including Tunable, which is quite good, but doesn't really compete), and none of them stand a chance.

I like everything about it except that it won't stay on my instrument. I only use it to tune a violin but every time I open the app it's back on guitar. Please make it possible to set a default instrument, or just leave it on whatever I picked last. Otherwise it's great!

best tuner I've used. you can play a crisp sine wave at ANY frequency and tune by ear, or use your microphone like a normal tuner. I've used this tuner for years and will never switch to another
