The My Citroën application communicates continuously with your smartphone and can ask you access to your calendar but also to your geolocation.
In the event that this access is denied the following features can not be used:

- Geolocation Authorization (Find my car, Last mile guidance, POS search, geolocation trips)
- Calendar Sharing (Schedule Appointments Online)
- Bluetooth authorization (Display of route data)
- Authorization Notifications (Maintenance alert, low fuel level, fuel price update)

You can enable these permissions at any time in your smartphone settings.

NEW Citroen C3 Aircross 2022, after 2 days, infodash tells me to update mapping and touchscreen controls (??? its a new car ???). Following instructions, got a 32gb usb, downloaded updates and tried to put them in car to be told "Cannot update Incompatible Format ??? Long story short after several attempts and different USB sticks due to "Key Format Impossible to format drive (64gb)" messages and "Check drive size, not enough space (32gb)" ended up booking car into garage for them to do it.

Since the 1 Aug 23 upgrade, the App fails to connect in background. Only works when open. As of 1 Apr 24, it's a lot worse. Best dumping it while it remains useless? Often fails to open! Also, cannot be used when using Android Auto and Google Maps - a much superior system to the in-house, expensive, Tomtom. 12 Dec 23. I give in. Uninstalled!

ok, but could be better. Updates seem to be improving but I think a couple of things would make it more useful. 1, I have an E-C4 and would like to see in the journey history the consumption. The units are there, miles per kWh but no actual number. 2, setting charge time. You can set a deferred start charging time but not Stop Charging or percentage to charge to. Getting up at 05:30 to stop a charge, because that's when cheap electricity ends, is not good!
