If they had the option of putting zero stars, I would! This app is bogus!!!! It steals your money and doesn't even give you the transcribed file. When I used this service this past week. I paid twice for transcription. When I tried to download both files and send them to my email, it would do nothing, like the page was froze. I made sure I was logged in, I was, made no difference. Uninstalled app and reinstalled it. Logged back in, the app didn't have either file. Contacted support, no help!

They used to be solid, but more than doubled their per-minute price (from 10c to 25c) while having a multitude of reliability issues pop up. Would avoid -- there's no reason to increase the price so high when the service no more reliable at transcribing than their cheaper competitors. So, with the accuracy being the same, then the unreliable transcription process (usually delivering blank text files on recordings that are loud and clear, as confirmed by cust. service) basically removes any reason to use them. Which is a shame, they didn't need to be greedy. An update to their response: I've found otherwise in real-world testing, the last few I ran side-by-side with Scribbie before leaving the service when y'all couldn't figure out why your service kept delivering blank transcripts. You're not any more accurate than they are, and your greed has clearly cost you more than a few customers.

Hi there, we're sorry you didn't have a good experience. We actually have a proprietary speech recognition engine that routinely beats Amazon, Google and everyone else. Here is how the accuracy is measured: https://www.rev.com/blog/automatic-speech-benchmarking. We know that the price may not be for everyone, but we appreciate you giving us a try.

The app seems to transcribe nicely, yet it locks you out of the transcripts it had just prepared for you right in front of your eyes. I don't want to be upsold a transcription service--just charge me a fixed price to buy the registered version of the app and then leave my recordings and transcripts alone. $20, $50, $70, or whatever. I want a product, not a service. I don't want anyone else hearing my voice notes, either, or whatever it is you do to manually enhance the automatic transcriptions.
