Ratings and reviews

I absolutely love the ease of tracking my reads and the feedback on types of books I like. However, I would not use this app for looking for reviews. I personally like leaving reviews for books on it, but I've noticed an overwhelming amount of reviews are talking about voice actors for the audiobooks and not the actual content itself and this is just not the place for it since the app doesn't track individual editions. So more of a community complaint I guess but it's so frustrating.

Storygraph is so user friendly and easy to navigate! I love how there are so many category options to describe a book and how you can add your own tags once you've read it. I also really love the plot and character questions. I think my favorite part is seeing the breakdown of genre, pace, and rating average of books read. It's just such a unique feature that makes the app feel so personal. The buddy read and new book club options are also so great for interactivity!

I was looking for a Goodreads alternative and found this. Tried it for a while but I had to uninstall because it would not show me all the 16 books I've put in, only stats on 5. It took me an absurd amount of time to find a simple list of books I've read in 2024 and I only found that by randomly clicking on words here and there. It should be more intuitive than this.
