About this game

Welcome to the 21st Anniversary Edition of Bridge. This significant update includes two further bidding conventions along with a range of general bidding and card play improvements. Thanks for all your feedback.

With 3 modes of play, practically unlimited deals and the ability to search for hands this Bridge card game is sure to teach, challenge and entertain you for hours.

Alternatively, why not play in some Bridge tournaments or create your own Bridge club and play online against your family, friends and invited club members.

Bridge supports the following 3 modes of play:

In Rubber Bridge a rubber is played as the best of three games. A game is won by the first partnership to score 100 or more points in successful contracts.

In Chicago Bridge, also known as Four-Hand Bridge, you play exactly four hands of Bridge. The winner is the partnership that scores the most points. Whilst played offline with a computer partner against the computer, if you share the 'tournament number' with a friend they can play the same hands on their device.

In Tournament Bridge you play at your own pace against players from around the world in duplicate style Bridge tournaments. Each player in a tournament plays the same hands with the winner scoring the most points.

What is Bridge?
Bridge is a trick taking card game played by four players who form two partnerships. Players within a partnership face each other across a table. Traditionally, the players are referred to by the points of the compass - North, East, South and West. The two partnerships are North/South and East/West.

Designed for both beginners and more advanced players you can choose how you prefer to play. There are plenty of features if you are trying to learn Bridge including auto play and hints. Meanwhile the more advanced players can use the bid analysis or replay hand features to explore different lines of card play.

GAME FEATURES:
* Approximately 2 billion hands built in for you to enjoy.
* Play game points or slams all day if that is what you want to do.
* Compare your bidding the Bridge V+ AI bidding.
* See how the computer would have bid and played the hand.
* Replay from any bid or card for that 'what if' moment
* Play in Bridge tournaments.
* Create your own Bridge club and play against friends.
* Get hints.
* Play any or all of North, South, East or West if that is your preference.
* Ask the computer how it has interpreted the bids made.
* Lots of display options to suit your individual and device preference.
* All the Bridge AI is in the app so you do not need any online connection to play.

PLEASE NOTE:
Bridge is free to download but ad-funded. You can choose to remove the adverts via a single In App Purchase if that is your individual preference.

Bridge tournaments cost money to host and run. You can choose to play for free by watching a short video advert to earn some Ticketz. Alternatively you can purchase Ticketz using the In App Purchases available.

DEVELOPED BY BRIDGE PLAYERS
The team behind Bridge have been producing Bridge games for over 40 years. One of our first products was Bridge Challenger released in the early 80s!

Do we get every bid correct or play every hand perfectly? absolutely not!. Often there is no one single correct answer making Bridge the game we love. Meanwhile we continue to develop and improve the game.

COMMENTS + SUGGESTIONS.
Please feel free to contact us via our support email if you have comments and suggestions. Please include any Deal Id if you are commenting on specific deals as that is the only way we can reasonably play the hand in question here.

Bought many years ago,a one off payment for life. Now they want me to pay for the same version again. Always asks me of my advertising choices,which I do not want and now has ads after each game. 21/10/2024 Actually I have now sent you the transaction details with the amount paid and the last 4 digits of the credit card used. Now can you rectify this anomaly??

Thanks for contacting us. It looks like you used a different account to the one you now use on Google Play to purchase the app. Purchases are tied to Google Play accounts (not devices) + without using the same one on your current device the Play Store cannot provide Bridge with any purchase receipt.

Worst bidding system. There is not enough space to show the bad bids. Even I deselected all conventions, still uses some instead of using the Natural system as it should without conventions. And one more thing, score seems to be one step behind! As soon as I finish a hand, I can't see the correct score, it is shown the one after the previous hand. If a hand play can be changed, so the score can be recalculated, so this is not an excuse. Maybe in a future version! It is true, the bidding system is not your fault, this is how the systems work. But you should add an option for Natural, no conventions at all. Same, maybe in a future version! And one more thing, very important: the adds are so stupid! Some are taking vary long, no option to exit (some Candy Crush for example). But all are repeating a lot. If I don't like/want something the 2nd-4th time I see (assuming that first time I didn't pay attention to it), why do you think I will like it the tenth or hundredth time? I understand they are needed in the free version (why pay if the other things are not OK?), but at least to be different! Thank you, maybe you can consider what I said!

Thanks for the updated feedback. We have almost no control over which ads are displayed - Google provide most of the ads + decide if they should be repeated or not. You can always choose to remove all the ads via the single modest In App Purchase if thats your preference.

Update: The better tournaments show up about 3 days after download. My updated review: I love this app. I was able to really improve my bridge playing using this app when learning. Yes, there are some small bidding differences and play strategies that aren't perfect, but coding a game as challenging and complex as bridge is impressive. The tournaments are fun and my whole family uses this app. Been enjoying it for over 10 years.

For the first 3 days after an app install the app will present a basic set of simpler tournaments to allow players to get used to them and explore tournament play. After 10 days it will rotate the richer tournament sets every day. Between 3 and 10 the richer sets are introduced.
