Do you want to know what the weather will be like? Is it worth heating up the grill? Summery bathing weather or perfect fresh snow? Do you need an umbrella? What will the temperature be and how warm should you dress? Questions about questions. Our weather app has the right answer. You get hour-by-hour weather forecasts for every location worldwide! So you know exactly what to expect and are well prepared for any weather condition.

That's not enough for you? No problem: look at the weather for the whole world in the 15-day forecast. This way you can plan better what you should pack for your vacation and can brave any weather conditions. And while you're there, you can find out from us whether the rainy weather suggests a visit to a museum or the sunshine suggests historical sightseeing.

Even if the weather is bad, we will inform you about it. Our weather app shows you where storms, heavy precipitation or snow can be expected every day and to the hour. This way you always know when to leave the car in the garage. And our weather and rain radar will let you know when exactly you need to pack an umbrella. To ensure that you are always up to date, our push notifications will keep you up to date. Whether relevant news, heat and UV warnings or severe weather conditions, we will inform you as you wish.

You can place widgets with the weather information that is most important to you directly on your home screen. From rain radar to sunrise and sunset to a countdown widget for your most important event, you have an eye on what really matters to you.

With our weather app you can expect further individual features and weather information. In the leisure area you can display the weather information relevant to your activities. Would you like to have a barbecue or would you rather go swimming? Do you like hiking? Place the leisure widgets that are most important to you in the leisure area. You can also find extensive, weather-related health information there. Are you plagued by allergies? Keep an eye on the pollen count. And if you don't sleep well during the full moon: our weather app shows you the respective moon phase.

Do you wear a smartwatch? Fantastic, because you can also view the wetter.de app there. We also offer our weather for Wear OS, where you can view all important weather events without having to take your smartphone out of your pocket. You can see the daily highs as well as the amount of rain and the probability of rain. Our popular meteogram with the weekly overview is also available to you. You can even add complications (something like our homescreen widgets). These then show you the current and perceived temperatures as well as the maximum and minimum temperatures. The phases of the moon are also shown. You find out the sunrise and sunset and always know the UV index. If it rains, you can always stay informed if you want: you can display the amount of precipitation and also the probability of rain.

Ratings and reviews

Decent weather app with good radar forecast. Unfortunately it became unusable due to ads now popping up every time the radar is opened. Switched to another app because of it. Yes, I'm aware there is a premium subscription. But I'm certainly not going to pay a subscription for a mediocre app with such an approach to ads. One time purchase option for 2-3€ would've been acceptable.

Does what it promises. The only gripe I do have is that when you open the app with activated location services it deletes saved favourites of whatever area you're in. Example: Cologne is saved as a favourite. I forgot to deactivate location services after using Google Maps for navigation. I open wetter.de, the app shows me the weather for Cologne but deletes the city as a favourite.

The application simply doesn't work anymore. It gets no data from the API, so you just see bunch of hyphens and "unknown place" as location. P.S. the review updated. Thanks for the feedback.
