Writing is powerful. Simple Journal is your go-to app when you need a place to write. 🔒 Lock, multiple journals, images, and a whole bunch of settings to make it your own.

🌼 How to edit an entry? Long-tap the entry
🌼 Delete an entry? In the editor, swipe down for menu (delete through menu)
🌼 Change the font? See settings
🌼 Lock the app? See settings and enable 'lock automatically'
🌼 Get to settings? In the main screen, swipe down for the menu bar, tap the three dots, then tap settings.
🌼 Transfer notes to a new device? Export through settings for free, or sync to Drive with Pro.
🌼 Take care of backups? Export through settings for free, or sync to Drive with Pro (encrypted)
🌼 Print notes? With Pro, a printable (and searchable) html file will be included in all manually exported zips. Open and print it through a browser on a computer.

Very well made app, simple and useful, I have been writing on it for a while. However, I really wish the price of the pro version is cheaper. Really? $80 for a Google drive access? Also, I hope the developers can make a online or app for the computer so I can write stuff by my computer. Edit: thanks for the reply. Personality I think it is nice to be able to access my notes from my computer or on web. However, if the function is locked behind a paywall then no.

This app is GREAT! The scramble lock is SO COOL, my face lit up when I tested it out and realized what it actually did! The formatting is so.. well.. simple, it's a great place for keeping your thoughts. Furthermore, I think the way you can have separate journals with multiple entries is really cool! It's great for when you want to organize what ideas go where. I wouldn't say it's a standard note taking app, so keep that in mind. It definitely seems to be made for more of a diary type thing :)

I liked the simplistic ease of this journal, and I used it a lot, but on my screen, the words all ran together, with no spaces and in a line going down. This made it hard for me to see what I was writing. After I saved it, the words were correct and in proper sentence form. I like to see what I'm writing as I go. So, I'm using a different journal app. now.

Recent changes:
• Fix the keyboard fix and the warning about a writing assistant. If you previously noticed images turning into underscores or formatting disappearing, this should solve it, assuming you have the 'keyboard fix' setting enabled.
