This application is designed to function as a headless app, meaning it cannot be opened directly from the Play Store or your device's app drawer, nor will you find an application icon in your app drawer. It works in collaboration with the Aadhaar Authentication User Agency (AUA), the KYC User Agency (KUA), and other entities.

How the Application Works:
Since the application is headless, there is no option to open it directly from your device. Instead, it is invoked by an AUA or KUA that you are interacting with. When you need to authenticate your identity, the AUA/KUA will trigger the FaceRD application to perform the necessary operations. This design ensures that your interactions with the app are seamless and secure, without requiring you to manually open or interact with the app itself.

Security and Privacy:
This design choice prioritizes your security by minimizing the points of direct interaction and potential vulnerabilities. By being triggered only by authorized agencies, the application reduces the risk of unauthorized access.

Ratings and reviews

Getting Error :- 904 (Failed due to Network Related Error). Despite having 4G+ full network signal, internet data quota remaining, no background restrictions for apps, allowed unrestricted data access to the app and background data enabled. Tried clearing app cache and clear all data but nothing worked. Tried reboot too. Tried may times for the last two days but still getting the same error. (Trying to use for National Scholarship Portal App- Face Auth.)

After lots month of my pending scholarship work, this app updated and i was able to download it now in my phone. But now it's not updating my EKYC and whenever I scan my face for eKYC it shows pop-up text "enumreg should not be null" or something like that. Which is leading my work to be more pending. Totally disappointed from the government service.

Bugs fixed so can be ìnstalled on Samsung mobiles now! Had sent an email to customer support a few days ago regarding the 'Not compatible with your device' problem that Samsung mobiles were facing. Am impressed that they have fixed the problem so quickly as I was able to install the app a few minites ago!! This great app acts as a virtual biometric device for apps like Jeevan Pramaan so that pensioners can generate and automatically share their Life Certificates.
