App used to have a keyboard for command entry. It no longer does. I'm hearing impaired, so voice commands are problematic. I really would appreciate having the ability to type commands again. Also, because only voice commands, and my hearing issues, it rarely understands what I'm saying. *a year later and this is still an issue. seriously, a keyboard option for us with hearing issues. come on. 7-25-25

I can never connect a device in one go. There's always an issue in some connection step. Any troubleshooting is a pain to go through and not easy to follow. I dread everytime I have to open the app to connect a new device. You should also be able to ignore devices found if they aren't yours. I shouldn't have to skip over the device a neighbor has over and over to just try to find the one I'm trying to set up.

over the last few weeks home has become very unstable. devices that worked stopped responding to voice commands. devices work from manufactures App. automations that used to run fine now run twice when announcing. others turn off for no reason. I'm on a good wifi channel. signal strength is very good. when I renamed the devices they start responding again but not this. it's your side. bad home programming at google.
