Same bug different phones Hello, I'm having an issue where when I connect to the Chromecast and use it on YouTube it doesn't disconnect if I just turn the TV off. I will have the TV and Chromecast off but if I go to YouTube on my phone it shows the holding screen for the video like it was being casted. I can't turn it off and see the video like normal again unless I turn the Chromecast back on and connect, then manually disconnect in the YouTube app. This has happened on my Moto X 2014 and now my brand new Nexus 6. Please look into.
Did not work with my device! I have an s4 mini with updated software and it would simply not function with my device. Why is the s4 mini not compatible? Should I return and go get a Roku? Is there any help or support you can giv me? Update: 2 days later and still no answer to my rating/comment. No support or service either, I guess. Great.
plays well and very clear once you learn how to use it. at first it was slow but it was because of my wifi connection. once it was increased, i had no issues.
Was working in bits and pieces Used to be very smooth. Was able to control the video from chrome browser, moto x, moto g, Samsung tab and iTouch. Not any more! YouTube disconnects as the phone switches to different view. I have experience with only YouTube but Chromecast needs a patch immediately.
OMG!!!!! Never had a problem with my chromecast until now. We moved to a different state and I plug in my chromecast and get it all set up and I cast screen to screen from my phone and it was working fine and when I was done I turned everything off. When I went to cast again my device couldn't find it so I reset it and it couldn't find my network so I reset my modem and it was able to find it and I was able to set everything up and cast again and now it's giving me the same problem. It keeps doing this over and over
Doesn't stay connected After a bit, the controls disappear from my taskbar. Which means I have to reopen Netflix and wait and so on.. Not sure which of you is the problem, so I'm rating you both a 1.
