Touch icon and put the phone on silent mode, touch again and back to previous profile. Mute all (ringer, audio/video players, notifications ...) except alarm.
Put application shortcut on wallpaper to quick switch MUTE ON/OFF.

I changed my review to 3 starts after reading the developers response. Indeed, I installed the widget and it shows red when you mute and green when you unmute, which is very good -- i have not found another app that will show a volume indicator and I have searched/tried a lot. However, the app has limited functionality in that it can only mute for 10 min or 1 hour. And, if you unmute by another means during the muted period, the widget indicator still says mute.

Works as advertised with the touch of a button. Installed it on my wife's phone, and she loves it too. It's a crying shame that after spending 2 hours surfing the internet, I never found how to allow my contacts to call me during the night, but mute everything else. A multitude of users had the same issue, but no "solution" anyone suggested worked. At least the mute button can mute everything in one quick touch. Thank you!

The app works perfectly, does what should be a built-in function of the operating system. However, it regularly pops up a request for you to rate the app. On that pop up is a check box saying not to ask again...but it does. So after putting up with that for a year, I'm writing a review hoping -that- will stop it from disrupting my phone use.

Added permission required dialog. Long tap on icon for unmute after 10min or 1 hour. Align with new Google Policy.
