I love this mindfulness app. It doesn't gameify, it's doesn't sell, it doesn't make recommendations, it doesn't have 100 choices to make, it doesn't have logins or passwords or profiles, it doesn't have coaches subtly vying for you to choose them. It just gives you the for a wonderful calming experience in 1-2 clicks, no fuss, no hassle, no algorithms, only what you want and need.

I'll try to reinstall, but at the moment, either the meditation downloads are unsuccessful or they skip and repeat like a broken record. UPDATE: I've downloaded the latest version which was supposed to have fixed this bug, but no luck! It's like listening to Max Headroom ( showing my age). UPDATE: 11/9/2019 version; Most of the skipping audio is gone, but not entirely. Podcasts still skipped several times in the first minute or so, maybe a buffering problem?

To be honest, the app itself is a bit clunky, but the content is so rich, and to have easy access to it in an app, has already been extremely helpful in my life in just the few days I've been using it. The podcasts are especially wonderful and an amazing tool I am so grateful to have. And for free!! I came to download UCLA Mindful after listening to Diana's conversation on the Waking Up app. It's now also become a part of my daily routine for mental self care.
