Binamod | Earthquake provides rapid seismic performance assessment and solutions for the
retrofit of buildings. The application incrementally collects building and geographic information.
It analyzes and scores the probabilistic seismic performance of buildings. Binamod’s algorithm is
created based on widely-accepted scientific methods and international regulations. Building
performance results are also reviewed by an expert.
Binamod | Earthquake also researches using artificial intelligence especially to increase the speed
of data collection.

Existing seismic performance assessment methods are costly and time-consuming. Only seismic
performance assessment of buildings may take more than 25 years for a large city. Most of the
buildings are generally older than 20 years therefore users do not know if their home is safe under
an earthquake. They cannot also obtain building performance just after an earthquake The main
problem is that the procedure to provide seismic performance assessment is too complex for non-
technical users.
Rapid seismic performance evaluation methods are widely accepted procedures. Binamod aims to
provide seismic performance of building as fast as possible with high accuracy. Therefore,
multiple data collection steps are provided for customers. Binamod’s algorithm works with a
growing database to provide the latest scientific methods. Thus, individual customers can benefit
from huge data for getting fast and accurate results. Binamod provides seismic performance
scores for buildings. Increasing building data will also increase accuracy in prediction. Binamod
also provides post-earthquake damage prediction if required building information exists in the
database. The target of the app is to create an integrated solution for an earthquake from seismic
hazard to monitoring. Binamod company is founded by an academician who holds Ph.D. degree
in earthquake engineering with help of a scientific fund.
