DocMaster is an on-device document and file toolkit for Android. Your documents never leave your phone. It is free and ad-supported — no account, no cloud sync.

FILE MANAGER
• Browse your whole device storage as one tree — sort, show hidden files, refresh
• Multi-select with breadcrumbs; copy, move, rename and delete with a paste bar
• Recents and Favorites that follow your files when you move or rename them

FIND ANY FILE
• A device-wide catalogue of your documents, built on-device
• Browse by type — PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images and more

PDF TOOLS
• Merge several PDFs into one
• Split or extract a page range
• Rotate, compress and add a text watermark
• Password-protect (encrypt) a PDF, or stamp a signature image

SCAN & OCR (on-device)
• Scan documents with the camera — edge detection, multi-page, save to PDF
• Scan ID cards
• Extract text from images with on-device OCR (Latin and Devanagari scripts)
• Select text right on the image, like a lens — long-press and drag to pick words, then copy, translate, search or share

VIEW DOCUMENTS
• Read PDFs with scroll, zoom, search, bookmarks and a thumbnail grid
• Open Word, Excel and PowerPoint content in-app (a content-accurate view of text and data, not a full layout renderer)
• View images with pinch-to-zoom

YOUR DOCUMENTS STAY ON YOUR DEVICE
• Your files, scans, photos and recognised text are processed on your device and are never uploaded — no account, no cloud sync.
• OCR, document scanning and translation all run on-device.
• DocMaster is free and ad-supported: it shows ads (Google AdMob) and uses analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) to run and improve the app. These collect usage data and an advertising ID — never your documents. See the privacy policy.

Note: DocMaster requests "All files access" so it can work as a real file manager across your whole storage. You can decline — it then falls back to the system folder picker for opening individual documents.
