Über diese App

Your phone or tablet becomes a Mushaf — without keeping the app open.

Wird plays your daily Quran portion and shows the currently-recited verse on your lock screen. Tap play once. The recitation picks up exactly where you left off. When your portion ends, it stops. Tomorrow, it continues from the next verse.

No navigation. No remembering where you were. No screen-on tax.
Configure a daily portion once — from a quarter hizb (~5 minutes) to a full juz (~40–80 minutes). The app remembers your position across sessions and days. If you stop mid-portion, it picks up right there next time.

Features
• Currently-playing verse displayed on your lock screen
• Five daily portion sizes: quarter hizb, half hizb, ¾ hizb, full hizb, full juz
• Cross-session position memory
• Gapless playback
• Three themes: deep teal, midnight gold, warm charcoal
• Stream on first play, cache as you listen
• Next portion pre-downloaded automatically

Reciters
Abdul Basit Abdus-Samad, Mohamed Sedeeq El Menshawi, Mahmoud Khalil El Husary, Mahmoud Ali El Banna.

Free. No ads. No in-app purchases. No account required.

• Three more classical reciters: Husary, Minshawi, and Al-Banna.
• Long verses now scroll inside Now Playing instead of being cut off at the edge.

Fixed:

• Picking a different reciter in Settings actually changes the voice you hear.
• English translation no longer wraps with leading punctuation when the app is set to
Arabic.
