GemReader is a private, offline ebook reader built for interactive books — textbooks, workbooks, study guides, and any EPUB with forms you need to fill in. Unlike most ebook reading apps, GemReader saves your answers automatically.
FORM DATA PERSISTENCE
Most readers ignore form fields. GemReader doesn't. Fill in a workbook exercise, close the book, come back later — your answers are exactly where you left them. Every text field, checkbox, dropdown, and radio button is saved automatically.
ANNOTATIONS
Highlight passages in six colors and attach notes to any highlight — a full note-taking system built into your reading app. Everything persists across reading sessions so your study notes are always where you left them.
ENCRYPTED LIBRARY
Your EPUB files are encrypted at rest using AES-GCM. No plaintext ever touches disk. Your books stay yours.
BUILT FOR OFFLINE USE
No account required. No cloud sync. No tracking. Everything stays on your device.
