The NORBERT Device (ND) is a prescription-use medical device that is intended to provide contactless, noninvasive measurements of an adult's pulse rate.
The ND measures pulse rate (PR) from the color changes seen on a subject’s face that occurs due to pulsatile flow. In some cases, the ND may require use of both the subject’s face and the subject’s hand, which would be held next to the face to measure the PR.
