About this app

** It's exclusively for Brain Wellness Center patients only **

Auditory Integration Training (AIT) is a specialized program designed by Dr. Ali Hashemian at Brain Wellness Center. The program is based on three decades of practical experience using the Tomatis and the Bernard Auditory Training, and it improves the symptoms of Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD) and dyslexia by retraining the brain to process auditory information more efficiently.

The program is customized based on the person's specific deficiencies, and a unique music program is created using an app. The patient listens to this recorded music for half an hour twice a day using a bone-conduction headphones provided by the program. The program typically lasts between 30 to 90 days, and after every 30 days, another test is administered to evaluate progress, and the prescription is adjusted accordingly.

Over 90% of the patients who follow the program experience improvements in auditory processing within 90 days or less. AIT is particularly useful for individuals who have difficulty following multiple-step directions or participating in conversations in noisy environments, as well as for those with dyslexia, as it can improve reading comprehension.

The program has been shown to be effective and safe, with no known side effects in over 35 years of use. With Dr. Ali Hashemian's expertise and guidance, AIT at Brain Wellness Center can help improve auditory processing skills and overcome the challenges of auditory processing difficulties.
