The app may work fine, but just to get one image translated, I had to go through about 7 full page ads, plus deal with half-screen banner ads on every screen. It makes the app impossible to use.

Would be a great app if you didn't have to take pictures and open them with the app for translation. An app where you can have a text conversation with someone that speaks another language is needed in real time.

Although it likes to ask you to get its premium version is works very well, you see the image with the translated text over the words.
