How to use heart rate monitor free app to measure your heartbeat?

To use this heart rate monitoring app, just place your finger on your phone's camera and hold it still, the heart rate will be displayed after a few seconds.

What is a normal heart rate or heartbeat?

According to the Mayo Clinic, a normal resting heart rate for adults ranges from 60 to 100 beats per minute. However, keep in mind that many factors can affect heart rate, including activity level, fitness level, body size, mood, and more. In general, a lower resting heart rate means more efficient heart function and better cardiovascular fitness.

Consult your doctor if your resting heart rate is consistently above 100 beats per minute, or if you are not an athlete and your resting heart rate is below 60 beats per minute.

What are heart rate training zones?

Heart rate training zones are calculated using your maximum heart rate. Within each training zone, subtle physiological effects are produced to enhance your fitness:

- Rest area (up to 50% of the maximum value): this is considered a rest area.

- Fat Burning Zone (50% to 70% of maximum): Recovery and warm-up exercises should be done in this zone. It's called the fat-burning zone because fat burns a higher percentage of calories.

- Aerobic zone (70% to 85% of maximum): Most of your main exercises should be done in this zone.

- Peak zone (greater than 85% of maximum): This zone is ideal for short-term high-intensity training to improve performance and speed (High Intensity Interval Training HIIT).

This heart rate monitor app automatically calculates and saves your heart rate training zones.
