Paid a week at the 5.99/wk to try the Old Photo Restore tool with a few old family photos dated circa 1900 through the 1940s. The Old Photo Restore tool did a poor job. I then tried the enhancement tool before and after with the same photos, and that was a fail, too. None of the results were very good at all. All it does to remove scratches is excessively blur the entire image. The face AI technology of this app was quite bad compared to other AI apps out there. This app has a long way to go.

After installation, open app and the FIRST thing it does is ask for money! 🤬 Finally figured out how to try it out, after watching literally 15 minutes of ads through the process, I FINALLY got a finished product, so I thought. 😮 How in the world would you colorize the head/face, but not the hands? Looks very tacky. Oh, let's not forget the watermark they place on the picture, but that can be edited out! Uninstalling...

I subscribed to this app, foolishly because it was advertised to correct flaws and scratches on old photos. It did not even correct the most minor of scratches. I should have known that it would not work when there was not even a single opportunity to try the service for without signing up. Learn from my mistakes and just pass on this one. Unless you want your old family photos to look like something out of a horror movie.
