You were the monster King until a monster stronger than you took your throne and your strength. The new ruler then exiled you to the deepest parts of a dungeon.
The game starts from the point when you discover that when you die in the dungeon you respawn back as if you had not died. And now with this new super power you decide that you are going to regain your strength, escape this dungeon, and take back your throne.
