Gold Hook is a gold-mining arcade game made for your Wear OS watch. A claw swings back and forth under the winch. Tap, and it drops. Whatever it touches first comes back up with it.
HOW YOU PLAY
- Tap below the score to drop the claw.
- Heavy loads reel in slowly: large gold and rocks take their time, while diamonds are small and come up fast. An empty shot returns quickly.
- Every mine lasts 55 seconds and has a money target.
- Hooked a rock you don't want? Hold the screen to spend one dynamite stick and clear that load. It only ever destroys the load on your claw, never the treasure around it.
WHAT IS DOWN THERE
Ten finds in every mine: small gold, large gold, diamonds, rocks and mystery bags, each with its own weight and value. Every layout fits inside the round screen.
THE TARGET DOES NOT END THE MINE
Reach the target and the score turns green, but you keep digging until the clock runs out. Every extra find still counts. Clear the whole board and another vein opens, with the same target and the same clock. When time is up, a mine that met its target sends your whole haul to the Workshop and opens the next mine. Miss it and you try again on a fresh layout, keeping every upgrade you bought.
THE WORKSHOP
Spend your haul on permanent upgrades between mines:
- Strong rope, eight tiers, for faster reeling
- Gold polish, eight tiers, each making gold and diamonds worth 15% more
- Dynamite, up to five sticks
Higher tiers unlock as you reach later mines.
DIFFICULTY
Choose Easy, Moderate or Hard in Settings. The mode sets how high the target starts. Every mode keeps the full 55 seconds, and a change applies from the next mine.
PAUSE ANY TIME
Tap the score, press Back or swipe right to pause. The timer also stops when you leave the game. Your progress, upgrades and even a mine in progress are saved on the watch.
FULLY OFFLINE
No ads, nothing to buy, no account and no internet connection. The game runs entirely on your watch.
COMPATIBILITY
Needs Wear OS 3 or newer. Made for round watches such as Samsung Galaxy Watch and Google Pixel Watch. The game's labels are in English.
INSTALL
Pick your watch in the install menu on Google Play, or open the Play Store on the watch itself. Gold Hook then appears in your Wear OS app list.
