TrapMatrix is an offline bait station, snap trap and insect light trap monitoring log for pest control operators, warehouse managers and food plant QA teams.

A food plant or a warehouse runs a perimeter of 50 to 300 numbered devices. Every service visit means walking the route, reading each device, and recording what was found. The question that comes up later is what the trend has been across months, and that is the part a stack of paper route sheets makes hard to answer.


WHAT IT DOES

Scan and tap
Scan a station tag and the device opens with its identity and its last three visits. Bait taken, condition and activity are one tap each. The camera stays warm for the whole round, so the next station is ready the moment you save. There is no save dialog and no confirmation step.

Works without a connection
Nothing in the scan loop waits on a network, which matters on an exterior perimeter, in a grain tunnel or inside a cold store. Everything is written to the phone.

Facility grid
Every device on one screen, coloured by the activity last recorded against it, and grouped by the location you assigned. A device that has never been scanned is drawn hollow, so an untouched perimeter cannot read as a clean one.

Pest activity trends
Rolling 30, 60 and 90 day activity per facility and per device, with the direction measured against the previous 30 days rather than a single week. Devices are ranked by activity per week of observation, so a device on a monthly round is not compared unfairly with one on a weekly round.

Corrective actions
A device fault, a fully taken bait charge or a catch on a device that is not there to catch opens an action for you to review. Give it an owner and a due date, and close it out with a photo. You decide what the finding means; the app makes sure it is not lost.

Printable device tags
Generate QR or barcode tag sheets on ordinary adhesive paper, so a new site can be labelled the same day instead of waiting on custom stock.

Monitoring report
A PDF holding the device status matrix, the trend charts, the corrective action log, the register of products recorded against devices, and the technician declaration with signature. Built in the background so the app stays responsive.

Visit history
Each visit records how many devices were reached against the device count at that time, so later additions never rewrite the result of a past visit.

SCOPE

TrapMatrix is a record-keeping tool. It reduces route admin and organises monitoring evidence. It does not substitute for a licensed applicator's judgement, and it gives no pesticide application advice. It never recommends a product, a rate or a treatment. It records what the licensed applicator did. It is not an audit, a certification, or a substitute for your scheme's own documentation requirements.
