Folvix Study Notes is a local-first note-taking app built around the way students actually study. You create subject folders and fill them with structured notes that support full markdown formatting — headings, bold, italic, lists, code blocks, and more.
Everything stays on your device. No account required, no sync, no internet connection needed. Open the app and your notes are there.
The folder-based structure keeps subjects separated so you are not scrolling through one long list of unrelated notes. Each folder holds as many notes as you need, and you can browse, create, and edit without leaving the subject view.
The markdown editor gives you control over formatting without the clutter of a toolbar-heavy word processor. Write plain text or drop in markdown syntax — the choice is yours.
Appearance can be adjusted through settings: pick a font size that suits your reading preference, and set your preferred first day of the week for any date-based views. A PIN lock keeps your notes private on shared devices.
First-time users are walked through the app on launch with a short onboarding sequence. After that, the interface stays out of your way.
