Learnt: Daily Learning Log

Nova Nest

À propos de l'application

Learnt is a daily learning journal. Write down the one thing you understood today, and Learnt brings it back to you later — as a flashcard, as a quiz question, in your own words.

Not a to-do list. Not a habit tracker. A record of what you actually learned.

WHAT IT IS FOR
Engineers logging the bug they fixed and why it broke. Students keeping a running record of lectures and reading. Anyone who reads a lot and forgets most of it by Friday.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Write one line. A headline, notes if you feel like it, a subject tag. It takes under a minute.
2. Learnt schedules it. Every log goes into a review queue on a spaced schedule.
3. It comes back. Flashcards and weekly multiple-choice quizzes, generated from your own logs — nothing to author, no decks to build.

WHAT YOU GET
• Quick capture from the app or the home-screen widget
• Guided prompts: Learned, Solved, Decided, Question, Snippet — each with sentence starters when the page is blank
• Rich text where it matters: bold, italics, bullet and numbered lists, inline code and code blocks
• Subjects, search, and time-spent tracking on every log
• Daily streak, so the habit is visible
• Spaced repetition flashcards written from your logs — grade them Again, Hard, or Got it
• Weekly quizzes built from a week of notes, with the answers you got wrong scheduled back sooner
• Revisit counter on every log: how often you came back, and when
• Insights: logs this month, last seven days, where your time went, most logged subjects
• Morning and evening reminders
• Full dark theme

EVERYTHING STAYS ON THIS PHONE
No account. No sign-in. No sync. No server. Learnt works with the plane on, and your notes never leave the device. Your logs are included in Android backup and device transfer, so a new phone keeps them.

OPTIONAL ON-DEVICE AI
Turn it on and Learnt writes an evening recap and a Sunday review of your week, and quietly fixes spelling and grammar after you save — your original wording is kept and one tap puts it back. The model runs on your phone. It is a one-time 555 MB download, and it needs a phone with enough memory; nothing is sent anywhere.

Start with one line today. In a month you will have something worth rereading.
