DocReader Pro is the same AI document reader as DocReader, with no advertising of any kind: no banner, no video, no ad SDK. Open your documents and summarize them with an artificial intelligence that runs INSIDE your phone. There is no account, no cloud and no copy of your files on any server: what you read and what the AI writes stays on your device.

THE AI RUNS ON YOUR PHONE, NOT ON A SERVER

The summary is written by a language model (Gemma, from Google DeepMind) running on the phone itself, using the LiteRT-LM engine. The document, its text and the summary are never sent anywhere: there are no servers to talk to because there are none. The model is downloaded once (557 MB) and after that summarizing works offline.

NO ADS, NO VIDEOS, NO AD SDK

· Summarize straight away: nothing to watch first.
· The app bundles no advertising SDK at all: not one line of Google AdMob code is in here.
· There is no advertising consent SDK either, because there is no advertising to consent to.
· No banner on the home screen, in the viewer or on the summary.
· The only reason the app uses the network is to download the AI model.

YOUR DOCUMENTS DO NOT LEAVE THE PHONE

· No sign-up, no account: nothing to create and nothing to remember.
· Nothing uploaded: neither the file, nor its text, nor the summary leaves the device.
· No storage permission: you pick each document with the system picker, and the app only sees the file you hand it.
· No trackers, no analytics: the app ships no usage tracking of any kind.
· No advertising ID and none of the permissions advertising needs: in Pro they are removed from the manifest.
· Working copies live in the app's private storage and are gone when you uninstall it.

SUMMARIZE ANY DOCUMENT

Open a contract, a report, some notes or a spreadsheet and ask for the summary. The AI reads the document's text and writes a summary you can copy or send to another app. While it works you can see what it is doing (reading, loading the model, writing) and stop it with one tap whenever you want.

· Light and dark themes, plus a dark reading mode that flips the paper without wrecking images.
· English and Spanish interface, no connection needed.

WHAT THE APP DOES NOT DO (SAID PLAINLY)

· No OCR: photos and scans can be viewed, but no text can be pulled out of them, so they cannot be summarized. Summarizing needs a document with real text in it.
· The summary can be wrong: it is written by an AI, so check the important bits against the original.
· A long summary is cut short when the model runs out of room.

REQUIREMENTS

· Android 8.0 or later.
· Summarizing needs a 557 MB model, downloaded once (over WiFi, if you like) and stored on the phone. On phones with 8 GB of RAM or more a larger model (about 4 GB) is offered as well, which handles longer documents better.
