WHY IT SOUNDS DIFFERENT – NO LOOPS, NO GAPS
Most sleep sound apps repeat a short recording, and you start to hear the loop. In Lowlight, the seven noise colours are generated live by the app's own audio engine, so brown noise is true brown noise with no file and no loop. Nature sounds such as ocean, rain and fire are played as random segments crossfaded together, so a recording takes hours to audibly repeat and there is no gap to wake you. Just steady sound, with no music and no voices.
