EdLight Code is the practice companion to code.edlight.org.
Real coding happens on a computer. This app is for the minutes in between — on the way to school, waiting for a ride, before bed. Review what you learned, answer a few questions, keep your streak going.
Learn in your language
Every lesson, question, and explanation is available in Haitian Creole, French, and English. Switch any time. The Creole is written from the curriculum, not machine-translated from English.
Practice that remembers you
Flashcards use spaced repetition, so cards you find hard come back sooner and cards you know come back later. Your progress syncs with your account on code.edlight.org.
Learn by playing
Eight coding games: guess what the code prints, hunt the bug, pick the right SQL query, match code to its output, judge valid syntax, write a regex, rebuild a program line by line, and a five-letter word game for programming terms. A different challenge is featured each day.
Eleven tracks
SQL, Python, HTML, R, Terminal & Git, Spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Word, 3D modeling, 3D printing, and AI.
Built for real conditions
The course catalogue works offline once loaded. Reminders are scheduled on your device for the times students are actually free — before school and in the evening — so they arrive without needing a connection.
EdLight is a Haitian education initiative. Learning to code should not require a fast connection or an expensive laptop.
Practice coding daily — cards, quizzes and games in Kreyòl, French & English.
