About this app

We believe that if your computer keyboard doesn't ask for internet access, neither should your mobile keyboard. FUTO Keyboard is a modern keyboard app with voice input that is completely offline and never connects to the internet, in order to ensure your privacy and security.

FUTO Keyboard contains modern features such as autocorrect, voice input and swipe typing. It is also configurable to suit your personal taste.

Note: FUTO Keyboard is currently under construction and in "open testing". Some features, such as swipe typing, theming, autocorrect are unfinished. You may also run into some bugs and crashes. We appreciate reports and feedback and we are actively working on the app to make improvements.

I just downloaded and tried this after seeing Lewis Rossman's video. I've only been messing with it for a few minutes now, but so far I'm very impressed with what I see, especially being that this is still an alpha state.. The voice feature appears to be working very well. There is only one change that I would really like to see, And that would be a standard DX9 keypad with basic operators. I think the best way to implement this would be to activate it using a long press on the numerals key.

This could be really good in the future. But right now the swype dictionary seems to be obsessed with proper names and even non-words. Even while I was trying to write "names", it suggested SNES. I've had to add thousands of words to Blacklist and I don't see a way to export them so that I can use the same Blacklist on another phone. Also it takes two taps to blacklist. The voice input is better than GBoard. So thank you for that. And of course the fact it doesn't need the internet is stellar.

Great keyboard overall! I love it. Great layout and I love it not being internet dependent. It has some trouble with some swipe typing, but overall great. It says it has a clipboard history menu, though, and it doesn't. The clipboard button only pastes the last entry. Is there any chance something like in gboard where it lists the last few and you can pin some permanently if you use them a lot?
