About this app

FUTO Voice Input is an application that adds voice input capabilities to your phone. It integrates with apps and keyboards that support the standard Android voice input APIs (ACTION_RECOGNIZE_SPEECH and Voice IME). All processing is done completely offline on your device, and your recordings are NEVER saved or sent anywhere. The app accesses the Internet only when you choose to download optional models. FUTO Voice Input respects your privacy.

I love this app. I'm using it right now to write this review! Today I was out of cell service and I was still able to write 1000+ words on my phone with dictation because of how great this app is. It limits you to 30 second recordings at a time, but that's just enough to where you can stop, review it, and edit it for mistakes. It's a great app that works perfectly offline. I will definitely be purchasing it to show support to the devs. It would be awesome to see a win/linux version as well.

Futo is easily the best voice input that I've used (I paid the $10). It gets my intention right the vast majority of the time, so I don't have to go back and correct. I love the fact that it adds the punctuation as well. Probably the only downside is trying to work with open keyboards to make it work. I like the swipe function & it's been hard to find an open keyboard that works well with FUTO & has the swipe function.

Very accurate! It even removes "ums" and cleans up repeated words. For anyone struggling to activate it, the best way that I found to reliably do it, using any keyboard, is to just switch the keyboard layout to the FUTO keyboard. When you're done doing the speech to text, it will then switch back over to the digital keyboard that you were previously using.
