Don't waste your time. We have something to share with you. But first:
Home air conditioning systems are available in three main categories: traditional split-system AC units, packaged air conditioners and ductless systems. Each of these operate by the same basic process to lower the temperature and dehumidify the air in our homes. They all require an evaporator coil, a condenser coil, a compressor and refrigerant to essentially pull heat and humidity out of the home while returning cooler air to your living spaces. Regardless of which type of system works best for your home, correctly sizing it will provide the best results in comfort, performance and energy-efficiency. For example, when it comes to the size of your home air conditioner, bigger is not necessarily better. Equipping your space with a larger system with too many tons of cooling capacity not only uses more energy than necessary, but an oversized air conditioner could also cycle on and off too quickly without adequately removing humidity from the air, leaving you feeling cool but damp. Conversely, an air conditioner that’s too small for your space will work overtime trying to cool the space, consuming more energy without fully doing the job. A properly sized air conditioner matched to the unique needs of your home will not only keep you comfortable, it can also help you save on your energy bills. Because there is no simple answer to the question, “What size air conditioner do I need?” and because it is so important to your comfort and energy consumption, we always recommend getting a professional assessment of your property.

With AC Calculator Pro it is simple and easy to calculate the size of your future air conditioner or heat pump
No matter how hot under the collar you get, buying an air conditioner should never be an impulse purchase. It's an expensive, long-term commitment that has big implications for your power bill and comfort levels alike – so it's important to do your homework before installing one.

Just enter the data in the App and when you are done tap on "Calculate" and the BTU/h of your air conditioner or heat pump will appear.
If you need more details or are an HVAC worker, click "See more" to get:
1. Commercial capacity in BTU / h
2. Recommended types of equipment are window, mini split system, multi split system, channeled central units, package system and cooler.
3. Equivalences to know the BTU, kW, Kcal and Ton per hour of the calculated air conditioning or oven
4. We have searched prices all over the web to inform you of the price of each individual capacity in order to know the approximate cost of your equipment.
5. Energy consumption based on capacity of the device result, with a 10 EER/COP of efficiency and making a 70% energy saving if is an inverter (with 17+ SEER / SCOP).
