How to use:

Method - 1 (Recommended)

1. Open the Reddit post that you want to download.
2. Tap on the Share button below the post to open the share sheet.
2. Select Viddit from the list of the apps to begin downloading the video.

Method - 2

1. Copy the link to the Reddit post that you want to download.
2. Open the Viddit app and use the clipboard icon to paste the link.
3. Tap on Download to begin downloading the video inside the app.

Viddit does its job admirably, quickly and quietly. They chose a very straightforward way to get video downloads by using the "share" function, which works independently of the Reddit settings for each forum. Couldn't be easier and quicker. The reason I'm writing this review now is that Reddit changed something in its export string format that caused a problem for Viddit and the devs sent a notification that they're already working on a fix just a few hours later. That's dedication!

I've had the app, but haven't needed it yet. And yet, it deserves 10 stars. Here's why: A week ago some users reported a problem downloading specific videos. Since that time they have communicated every 2-3 days about the problem, when they found the problem, when they had a fix, and when they were waiting on Google to make the download available. No other app developer has gone this far to please his users. I even purchased the ad-free version immediately, they deserved it 100%!

The app is good but the new full screen ads are ridiculously annoying, ads continue to play in background even if you leave app before they start, if you happen yo touch your screen while ad is on the screen they open browser and playstore, that's beyond ridiculous.
