GhostGuard Mobile — Protection Against Scam Calls, Phishing, and Mobile Threats

GhostGuard Mobile helps protect users from scam calls, spam, phishing, vishing, impersonation attempts, fraudulent websites, and other mobile threats.

CALL PROTECTION

Call Protection is one of GhostGuard Mobile’s core security features. With the user’s explicit permission, GhostGuard analyzes recent incoming call information and, on supported devices, available on-device caption text to identify potential scam, spam, phishing, vishing, and impersonation risks.

Features include:

• Analysis of recent incoming calls for potential security risks
• Detection of suspicious phrases and social-engineering patterns
• Warnings about potentially dangerous calls
• Call security results and protection history
• Independent control of the Call Protection module

HOW CALL ANALYSIS WORKS

GhostGuard combines recent call metadata with available on-device speech captions to evaluate potential risks.

When supported and enabled by the user, Android Live Caption converts spoken call audio into text on the device. GhostGuard analyzes available caption text for suspicious phrases, requests for passwords, verification codes, payments, remote access, or other signs of social engineering.

GhostGuard does not record or store call audio. Live Caption availability and supported languages may vary by device, Android version, and manufacturer.

GhostGuard requests access to recent call history only when the user enables Call Protection. Users may decline this permission and continue using other GhostGuard Mobile features.

REAL-TIME WEB PROTECTION

GhostGuard helps detect and prevent access to phishing pages, fraudulent websites, cloned login pages, malicious domains, and credential-harvesting resources.

HOW WEB PROTECTION WORKS

GhostGuard analyzes URL structures, domain reputation, page content, and security signals to identify possible phishing, impersonation, and credential-theft risks. When a suspicious website is detected, GhostGuard displays a warning and may prevent access to the dangerous resource.

PRIVACY AND TRANSPARENCY

GhostGuard requests sensitive permissions only when required for a user-enabled protection feature. Before access is requested, the user receives an explanation and can choose whether to continue.

Call information and browsing security data are not used for advertising, contact harvesting, or unrelated profiling. GhostGuard does not listen to or record telephone conversations.

ACCESSIBILITYSERVICE API

GhostGuard Mobile uses the AccessibilityService API for real-time web protection in supported mobile browsers and, when enabled and supported, to access visible on-device caption text used by Call Protection.

GhostGuard does not use AccessibilityService to read private messages, record audio, change device settings without permission, or perform actions unrelated to its declared security features.

VPNSERVICE

GhostGuard Mobile uses Android VpnService for local cybersecurity and malicious URL filtering. The local VPN helps inspect network requests and block dangerous domains across supported browsers and applications.

GhostGuard does not operate as a general-purpose commercial VPN and does not use VpnService to decrypt or store personal browsing content.
