Looks like an interesting tech demo. No information for my area yet, but the information available looks promising. Upon opening, it immediately read whatever was copied in my clipboard which was a little sketchy... From what I can tell it doesn't require your exact location to work. You can tell it whatever city you live in and it will lookup if there's any information available.

The app sends me an alert every day with crime incidents and other types of useful information. I am very cautious about apps that over communicate, but citychat seems to be doing it just right

Maximum signal, minimum noise, this is a well-designed app with relevant information, kudos to the developers.
