Nubly is real-time, dynamic carpooling for professionals who commute. We match
people already heading the same way — so riders save time and money, and drivers
break even on a commute they were driving anyway. Nubly takes no cut of the ride.
That's the whole point.

WHY NUBLY WORKS WHERE CARPOOLING ALWAYS FAILED
Static carpool matching has failed for fifty years because it demands three
coincidences at once: the same origin, the same destination, and the same
schedule. Nubly flips the frame. Your driver doesn't share your neighborhood or
your office — they're just passing through. We match along the stretch of road
you have in common, drop you close to where you're actually going, and the
driver continues on. The city becomes the network.

FOR RIDERS
• Roughly one-third the cost of driving alone when three commuters share the car.
Contributions are calculated at the IRS mileage rate and split across everyone
in the vehicle. No fares, no markup, no surge — ever.
• Dropped closer to where you actually work — on the driver's route, not at a
fixed station.
• Hands-free travel: answer email, take calls, read, think.
• Zero commitment. Every trip is an independent decision.

FOR DRIVERS
• Break even on a commute you were already driving. Riders chip in at the IRS
rate; your riders' contributions cover the rest.
• Your riders' full cost-share reaches your account — Nubly takes no cut.
• Control on your terms: max detour, preferred rider count, default discount.

VERIFIED COMMUTERS ONLY
Every driver and rider verifies their professional identity with LinkedIn, so
the person in the car is a real professional — not an anonymous account.

Nubly is currently in pilot in the San Francisco Bay Area. Payments are handled
securely by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
