Ratings and reviews

The best thing about Plaud is that the company clearly cares, which is more than I can say for most companies. That said, the product has some baffling oversights: - No dark mode in app, white bg - No transcription til the complete file is transferred - No automatic file transfer - No VAD - Wireless transfer only, which is unreliable and slower than realtime when it works. I have four days of recordings stuck on device because transfers cannot happen while recording.

Plaud is a great product for certain people. I spent 500 between the device and the annual subscription which I should have done month to month. I actually bought a few of them for my employees and discovered that I didn't use mine much at all. At first it was so cool but then lost its luster. my problem is the refund policy in the subscription. I cancelled gave my plaud to another worker and have 8 months of useless subscription. that kinda sucks in this day and age. try for a few months.

The best thing about Plaud is that it is completely stand alone and my phone does not have to be on, or even on me, for Plaud to work. I just press the button and wait for a single vibrate and I know we are recording. The next best thing is that Plaud automatically uploads to my phone, I can select a report in several different formats. once the reports are created I can upload them into my Dropbox account with a couple of taps.
