I'm looking forward to using this more but so far I enjoy the ease of making an object in manual mode. I heard this is great for best results over auto but I'd argue there is probably a learning curve in regardless which mode you use. I would try both and see what gives you the best results and go with that.

I really enjoy this app. It's a great introduction into 3d scanning with your smartphone. I'm using a Google pixel 6a and a 6 pro and can't really tell the difference in quality between the two, if at all. As long as you take a sufficient amount of overlapping images in a good light setting (overcast, gloomy days), the result should be clear and crisp. I'm looking to get an iPhone 15 Pro for its LiDAR capabilities, which would greatly improve quality of the scans. Love this app!

Solid on s22 Ultra. Good workflow for metahumans. EDIT: The processing failures still result in the use of a scan credit, so be intentionally about your scans... EDIT: App is now scuffed for s22 ultra for some reason (just like scaniverse). Cannot get a successful completed scan of anything in any size. Processing failure leads to retry, which drains your scan credits.
